whats up guys? i have a 99 ex d18y8. i was doing research on a supercharger from j.r.s.c. and i was dissappoited in it. so next option was a turbocharger. my car is a daily street driving, but i like to have sum fun wit also. so im looking into a turbo kit for it. my question is "is what is a good kit for a good price and how reliable are the turbo kits wit out doing any premature wear on the motor ?
i know alot of you guys run turbos on your cars so thats y im asking you guys first.

If this is your first boosting experience and you want a kit that it complete and fairly hassly free... then I would vote for the Greddy kit

Unless of course you have over $3000 to throw into the Edelbrock kit which IMO is the most complete kit out there.

It depends on your budget and your goals. Are you going to build the engine? Or keep it stock?

If you want to improve your cars performance without spending an arm and a leg then go with Greddy!

 

well i have to make a correction engine i have is a d16y8 not d18y8 that was a typo i made. ill probbaly build it up in the future when things go bad on the motor. yea i saw that edlebrock kit, that is a full nice setup all the way from the intake manifold to the intercooler. which that does sound nice. thanx for your suggestions
