Default Tuning Guestion

Hey guys im new to this so dont laught. How do u know whats need to be tuning for more horsepower. I mean u not neceseraly have to swich everything to aftermarket? And where should i need to start tuning i mean what should i get first. Thanks fellas

what is the car and motor? you have to have a plan of what you want. if you have an older honda **** is cheap and easy to find. but they only can go so fast before the engine starts to cost a lot ''$6000'' and then they arent a everyday driver.

Yep, and specifically in terms of tuning, the first thing you need to get it a chipped ecu with datalogging, and a wideband with controller, that way you can get your afrs and tune for peak performance, but that way too simplified, so check out http://www.pgmfi.org

Wow thanks fellas. So basicaly if i need to get a good fast car but have it as a daily driver i need something like WRX or Evo.
