Default Is this true? Cut off leg on LS dizzy??

Ive been seening a lot of people saying that they cut off on of the legs off of their LS dizzy and used it on a vtec head and never had a problem.

-can you actually do this.
-is there anything that can happen
-will it affect performance or reliability or anything.

works fine, just make sure to check your timing with a light.

the only downside (if you consider it a downside) is rich boy e-thugs on honda-tech calling you ghetto for not spending $150 on a brand new distributor
