True Coilovers vs. Sleeved
So what's the deal on these for a street car? I hear so many people say, "screw that sleeved coilover crap...imma get some real jdm coilovers like tein...20pt adjustability!!!"
Seriously...what does something like Tein have to offer that's so much better than a Ground Control/Koni Yellow setup?

i run koni yellows on one car. they are the same as ground control but u get the name koni on them. i also have tanabe sustec pros on another teg and one more running on stock. if you like the comfort yet not feeling every bump i suggest the koni yellows. skunk make good ones too. the tanabes are too stiff for street use but when on the freeway they feel great. it really is up to your personnal preference. bumps or smooth? u choose
Well i understand that when going with a stiffer suspension...you must sacrifice some ride comfort. I've had Sportlines and GCs/Tokicos before. But would a streetcar necessarily take full advantage of a true coilover????

how difficult is it to raise and lower the Ground Control Sleeves? I assume that you just lift the corners and raise but is there anyway to measure how high or how low you take the height of the car?
It's really easy adjusting em. What I did before was use a reference point on the sleeve when trying to be precise on the ride height. Still didn't seem to work all the time for some reason

ive just seen that its hard to get the exact ride height one would like with just lowering springs alone..so get a an adjustable set of springs and get the exact level of ride u want and forget it..and depending on the kind of driving u do, there s a bunch of opinions on struts, and full coilovers
