Troubleshooting e-manage, need help!
I installed a DIY turbo kit with a Greddy E-manage and now the car won't start. For some reason the PCM isn't grounding the injectors to complete the circuit and open the injectors to let them fire. I eliminated all other variables by troubleshooting; for example, I know it HAS fuel because the fuel pressure gauge goes up to about 30psi when I try to start it. I pulled a plug and checked for spark and there IS spark. When I sprayed carb+choke cleaner into the intake mani it fired right up. I checked the injectors for power which they HAVE. While I was checking the spark plug, I looked into the cylinder and it was dry as a bone. Simply put, the ECM isn't telling the injectors to open. I installed the e-manage w/ optional injector and ignition harness, but I couldn't figure out the )*%#@#$ instructions for the ignition harness. I'm wondering if the camshaft sensor or TDC sensor correlates together to control fuel and timing, which might explain why I'm not getting fuel. I was supposed to drive it (provided it starts) to a tuning shop to dyno it and he was going to hook up the ign. harness there. anyone out there have any ideas?!
Would having the incorrect jumper setting cause damage to the ECU? I checked and the jumpers were set to Vtec and my car isn't. Also, the ECM isn't grounding the injectors to let them open. I ran a wire from the injector to the one going into the ECM and it has continuity but no ground?
