Default trouble starting up now...

ok, i'm selling my zex cam, so i took it out today and put back in my stock cam. everything is set properly, cam gear and distributer both lined up correctly, everything tightened back to spec. when i start up the car, it starts up, but sounds like it sputtering, almost sounds like a domestic (glub glub glub). the thing sounds like its about to die and something definitely isn't right. i did a valve adjustment as well. could my timing belt or cam gear be off by like a tooth or something? what else could be causing this? i've installed/uninstalled cams before and had no trouble, but now this. please help. thanks

If thats the only things you messed with then it would have to be something with the timing belt. Did you adjust it properly? It could be off a tooth since its running like ****.

Thanks, J
