Trouble starting after car is warm??
I have an '87 Prelude that runs like a top....BUT, if I drive it for any distance it will not start again until is has a chance to cool down a bit. The motor/ignition will sit and turn but it seems like it's not getting a "spark" or fuel. When it's cooled off, it starts perfectly and runs like a top.
Any suggestions? Please help!!

i had a 90 civic hb that did this=bad igniter. turned out to be a recall. dealer didn't even know about recall. went back out to check the car and started right up...canceled tow truck and appointment and let batt charge from trying to start earlier when warm. turned it off after 5 min to go get ready for work and no start when i came back out. if this is the same problem you are having it may just die when you are driving as well. mine started doing that as well.
ignition? coil? distributor?
(and u aren't stupid, it would be dumb for you to order the wrong part
, everyone has different questions)
