Default Trouble replacing rear pads..

My manual says to cclamp the piston back into the caliper and then remove the lower caliper bolt and swing it up. I did all that but it wont swing up, I think it's the LCA blocking it from going up. Is there something that my manual is leaving out or what?

you cant swing the rear caliper
u need to remove both bolts, unbolt the brake line, and pull the caliper off

You have to screw the piston back in, personnally, I use a large flathead screwdriver or a pair of long nose pliers

cheers

Got it, thanks for all the replies. Stupid haynes manual only had the process for the front calipers and said to follow the same steps to do the rears.
