i replaced 2nd and 3rd syncro's in my gsr tranny. i reassembled and installed. now i cant get the shifter into any gears. the only thing i can think of is the gear selecting arm inside the transmission must not be installed correctly. im not sure if there are any tricks or a certain way it should be done. i had the helms there but it didnt say anything specific to this part of reassembly. any ideas?

 

might be your fork, if its not lined up right it will lock you outta your gears

 

theres a locking pin, that you may have not reinstalled, or it could be the shifter fork. double check and make sure you put all of the shims in properly.

 

trannys suck. they are very hard to learn. do yourself a favor. after the case goes back on. test it BEFORE its in the car lol....

just take it out and check everything overthen reassemble.....repeat as needed
