ok so i just bought a stg 1 competition clutch. it came with the clutch, clutch plate, bearing, and this round pieace you put on the tranny. so i put it in the round pieace, and when you push the clutch lever down it pops out and when u let it out it goes back in, so im puttin in my tranny and it pops out, and i pushed the lever down and it stayed out. my question is when the tranny is connected will it go back to normal?

 

will the clutch work? b/c when the tranny was out, the round thing stayed poped out even if you pushed the lever

It's called the clutch release bearing(throw out bearing). Make sure the 2 ears on the back of it are locked on the arm good. If it's installed properly it shouldn't fall off.

 

need more detail on the round piece. cuz you mentioned a bearing and a round piece. assuming the bearing is the release bearing. dont know what the round thing could be

 

ok then i guess its called the release bearing, its hooked onto the trannsmission good, jus its poped out and when i push the lever down it stays out.
