i was about to purchase transmission, but i found out it pops out of 5th gear while driving occasionally. the tranny's in a friends car and this just started happening... what could be causing this??? i searched the boards already with no luck

 

So your VTEC and transmission is taking a crap? Dude thats UNPOSSIBLE in a honda.

 

Stop posting TECH questions in the GDD forum. And yes if you search you will find out why. I searched. took me 2 minutes to find the answer to your question, but I am an ******* and won't give you the link in order to make you learn how to use the search feature.

 

i searched and just got for sale or for trade posts... sorry for the post location, i just figured it was quick general question, just a few possibilities thats all.

my tranny's still good, i just want my friends cuz it's an itr w/ lsd... if the tranny's that bad i'll just get the lsd... this is a good friend not the kinda friend who cracks your vtec solenoid j/k

 

Yea, you need to stay away from people who crack your vtec selenoid. Bastards!

its ok... i changed his wheel locks without him knowing. i think we're almost even. by the way changing his wheel locks was the best 3 months of waiting for a pay off ever!
