u just need your shift rod replaced right?? I doubt it would be the transmission itself. U should be able to do it yourself.

I cant see what you are looking at so I can not say for sure but... I highly doubt you damaged the inner portion of that tranny piece. probably just need to replace the piece from the tranny to your shifter. There's a rubber boot where the shift rod has a clip to expose the spring pin that you remove. I am assuming that you know this though. Just wanted to clarify that you need actually need tranny work.

the piece the shift linkage hooks to, the little rod coming out of the trans is bent the shift linking is bolted to the trans wit a 12mm bolt and then it has a pin that needs to be banged out the piece that the pin goes in is bent that needs to be replaced

crazy. looking at the stub that comes out the tranny. hard to believe it can be bent like that. Good luck finding someone to help you out. I am sure lots of people here can help with ideas and tech stuff... they have for me... but hands on in your area.
