Default Transmission

We purchased a 2003 V6 Honda Accord for our daughter a few months ago. About 2 weeks ago it started having some issues with shifting funny, not quite slipping but just not quite right and it would not do it all of the time. A couple of days ago it started downshifting while it was being driven. The check engine light came on and said it was the shift solenoid which we changed. For a couple of hours after that was changed it was shifting great! Then I drove it on the interstate later last night and it started down shifting again. It changes gears just fine as long as you don't go over about 50 mph. It is not making any noises and shifts very smooth as long as you are not going over 50 mph. Is there something else we can check or does it sound like we need a new transmission?
