Default trans case tricks?

Hey guys, just thought I would ask if anybody had any tips/tricks for getting the trans case back on...

I have done it a bunch of times, but it always takes maybe 2-3 tries before I can get it to sit down properly... and for some reason its really fighting me this time...

any suggestions, or maybe things I may not a have thought of?

for example, someone mentioned that it should be in a certain ger or something, but I've never done that before...

anyways, any help would be appreciated...

make sure the flywheel bearing and pressure plate/clutch is all aligned well.
other than that, lift and wiggle it around till it goes in

I meant the tranny case, not installing the tranny on the engine... but thanks.

I dont know if theres a trick to it but it take a few trys for me also. Just make sure everything is lined up and make sure the c-clip is expanded. After a couple wiggles it usually pops in place.

I usually have to row it through 3rd and 4th to get the gear housing to drop because the shift forks get in the way.

Sometimes you get luck on the first shot Most of the time it takes a couple taps and the 3rds a charm!
