Tranny Problem?
I just got back from the drag strip and on my last two runs, i misshifted my 2nd gear. I didn't continue to try to force it in there. I just let myself get a shitty time. Anyways, after my last run, i decided not to run anymore and parked my car in the parking lot. When i turned my car off, i couldn't put my car into 1st or 2nd gear. Then i tried wiggling it a bit, then it got worse. I couldn't move my shifter in neutral. It was just STUCK. I started to freak out but managed to get it moving.
After i got the shifter to move, the shifts felt terrible. Particularly the 1st to 2nd gear shift. So i'm thinking i messed up my 2nd gear syncro when i misshifted. But as i drive home, it gets progressively better. Now it feels back to normal. I don't hear any grinds, the shifts are smooth again, but i am still worried i might have messed something up. Has anybody ever have this happen to you? I'm thinking i should change my tranny fluid. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Was planning on doing that. Do you think it could've been my clutch?

I was thinking that could be a problem too, but everything shifts smooth now. And i don't know how the shift linkage would break at the drag strip?

i seen it come loose, with a piece of the case! a guy i see at the strip a lot, was ready to make his pass. when he dumped the clutch, the hole car jerked forward but as soon as it did it stopped moving. he had just broke his linkage, from the base of the tranny! he was running a 95Ls with a 150 NOS shot(not 100% sure on the shot, but it was over 100), and was expected to run low 12s to high 11s!
