ok heres the story i did a ls swap to my 94 hatch, i had a complet ls swap that came off my boys teg, the tranny work perfectly fine no grinds. i put it in the eg and started it , i put it in first and the car didnt move at all, second the same thing, i put it in third and the car pulled off hard like the car was in first. the 1st gear was 3rd gear, 2nd gear was 4th gear and 3 gear 4th. the first thing that i tought it could was the shift linkage so i changed them both and it was still doing the same thing, HELP

 

Did you use a clutch alignment tool when putting in the clutch, and make sure it's facing the right way?

 

how's your motor mounts?

 

the motor mount are good

 

If the clutch was off alignment the trans would never be able to bolt up. I don't know about the gear problem, but do you have the correct axles & are they installed all the way?

 

yes i have the correct axles they came with the swap, i also dubbled checked everything...
