Default tranny oil question

okay.... so about a week ago i put 10w-30 Castrol Syntec SM in my em1 tranny.... was browsing through my buddies manual.. and it said type SH and SG only... will this cause any problems??? what's up with the SH SG & SM??

Many people have posted their approval of using Honda Manual Transmission Fluid.

People have reported grinding and other issues using redline and other tranny oils.

Honda recommends to use MTF in there manual transmission, or 10w30 as a temporary solution.

I know that have issues using redline in my tranny, I have never had a problem using the Honda MTF
