Whats up h-t? Yea, so the other night I was on the highway coming home and 5th gear felt weird when I put it in 5th around 55+mph. I wouldnt call it a grind because its deff not but it feels weird like a grind lol. But its kinda like it hesitates to go in then it does, but it like knocks when going in. I can get it in fine around 50 and under mph, but could it be that my syncros are bad/ going bad? need help dont know if its time for a new tranny or not. thanks

 

something in there is probably going bad, an im sure its gunna do it for a while until 5th gear goes out

before jumping to conclusions..try replacing the tranny fluid with genuine honda MTF. if it doesnt get better from there, then yeah its probably wear and tear

 

yeah liek Fezzie said i went through about 5 rebuilds in a matter of 3 months and that cant get any better i mean changing the fluid is a temporary fix but eventually that stifness turns into a grind the grind turns into a pop out and that pop out eventually becomes a missing gear on ur shift pattern soon, the best fluid for worn parts is supposedley gm synchromesh although i havent tried it myself
