Default Tranny which to go w/?

Ok, after reading several threads from other H-tech members, i'm not sure what will work the best for me. Another member had a similair set up and tried the DX and the SI cable tranny and found the DX to yield a faster 1/4mile time. Here is my set up-

D15b7 block,D16Y7 head milled .050 inch(1.27mm) and exhaust ports mildly ported & polished, D16Y8 head gasket,D16y8 Intake Manifold port matched and polished to GSR TB polished, NGK plug wires ,NGK Iridium plugs(1 heat range colder), Skunk2 Cam gear, Modified GSR intake & Box w/ KNN Filter, B&M FPR w/ gauge, PG-7 ECU (89 teg), N2 neuspeed 4-2-1 header, 2.25" mandrel bent custom exhaust (Magnaflow race muffler, high flow cat., resinator)and dx tranny, evasive motorsports short shifter w/ SUS bushing, SUS motor mount inserts and all mounts filled w/ M3 polyurethane window seal.

Other than trying both my self, can any one shed light on which is better an why?
The only thing I thought could come into play was, that w/ the DX tranny you hold the 3rd gear longer to get you through the 1/4 mile in it, Vs. shifting late on a SI tranny.

Thanks
