Tranny Fluid Change.
Im gonna be replacing my axles today and I was told I have to drain my tranny in order to do this. How do I refill the tranny, and how would I know how much fluid to put in.

Fun too.To drain you remove the lower bolt from the tranny....hopefully somewhat reddish clear fluid comes out.......not chocoate milk like mine......
To refill....put the bottom bolt back in with a NEW crush washer and remove the upper bolt (same side just higher).
Make sure you are on level ground, get an adjustable funnel (bendable end) and put it inside the tranny.....pour in Honda MTF (need about 1 and 3/4 quarts) until it starts to overflow then quickly put the bolt back in......
Yeah, you did it.
Gabe's in a good mood
You can also use a pump to put the tranny fluid in as well. You can get them at your local car parts store. They are ~ $10.00. Well worth the money.

ive flushed my transmission about 15 times in the past year (dont ask why...) and ive NEVER replaced that washer. never had a leak eithre.
but if it IS a crushwasher replace it.
i should look at my transmission and see because its on the floor of my garage...
