i've never owned an automatic before, let alone a honda with automatic. i replaced the radiator last night and the cooler lines leaked a little. i went to a parts store and they said i had to go to the dealer and get "special honda" fluid. the owner's manual mentions the honda fluid, but also says that dexron II will work. i called a couple of dealers today and they said i had to use the "special honda" fluid as well.
so what can i use that i can just go and buy? i searched and all i found was some stuff about GM product. i have a stock '97 accord ex.

 

honda ATF only my alldata program says. te GM synchromesh is for honda manuals..
