Hey guys,

I have a EG9 with tracton control in it. I going to be upgrading to a Civic Link ecu and will be getting my car tuned am i going to have problems with the traction control as im using an aftermarket ecu? Does the traction control run off the ABS computer or the ECU? How does the Traction Control Work?

Any info would be awesome.

had a similar prob ..

no other honda ecu will operate the tcs/abs unless its specific to that model eg9 .
my ecu was a spoon p30 ecu . ..later on got some probs due to water damage and that was hell ...currently planning to go with ectune ...let u know how that works out ..cause i never tried any other sorta tuning .

if the tcs is not working the same will follow for the abs and vice versa.

dunno what help this post would give u .i'm more or less stuck in the same boat.

 

sorry there are 2 different /seperate systems.disconnect one and the other wll not work
