Default TPS re-instal

i have a cracked TPS sensor on my SI TB can i replace it with the TB off my DX TB?
If so on the TPS there is room for adjustment how do i know if the TPS is set right?
Will the ECU set the 0%-100% valves sort of like a VAFC or dop i have to be right on the money for it to run right and have a proper signal? thanks again for all the help

Default Re: TPS re-instal (lowsol)

ok, no one else has caught this one yet and its been a couple days so heres some info for ya...
the dx tps is the freak of the honda bunch, it turns the wrong way... go pick up nearly any other one and u'll be ok...
for adjusting it turn your key on and measure voltage off the back of the 3 wires on the tps... use the center and one of the outside ones... can't remember which one but you'll figure it out quickly...
at idle it should be .5v and wide open is 4.5v...
