tps question

Default tps question

i have a my voltmeter set a 20v when i hook + to the middle wire i get 5. no matter how i move my tps. if it is bad wouldnt it not even read?? wouldnt it make my car run rich as hell?? its boosted as well but when i took my spark plugs out they looked like its running lean. my aem wideband says its running rich in boosted.

You are supposed to hook it up to the ecu pins. If its a obd-1 ecu its d22 (ground) and d11 (power) with the key in the on position

that will give me the volts out of the ecu. i need to know if my tps is screw or not. i found this.http://www.clubintegra.com/board/showthread.php?t=21792 tho desont really help but told me. how to do it
