Default tps not calibrating to volt specs?

like title says, done this before many times. I even swapped 2 good known working ones, still not matching up.

for instance, its supposed to be .5 at closed throttle and 4.5 at wide open.

here is the problem, when i set it on .5 spec on closed throttle the wide open would be off, at like 4.35 and will not match up.
Also, tried the opposite, got it perfect on 4.5 spec but the closed throttle spec would be off as well..and yes i know there is a slot for the arm to go into

I have all the symptoms of a bad/unadjusted tps, but in my case its only out of spec, the sensor itself is good.

throttle plate is closed 100%
no tension on the cable
idle screw is fine
no CEL

weird, never had this happen before, its usually fairly simple to get the specs matched up.. any idea ?

The way that the sensor works you may not always have both sitting perfectly on the correct values. Yours is very close. I would check to make sure you arent dropping out mid throttle. It should be smooth from .5 to 4.5.
