I have a 90 Integra and my ECU was throwing the TPS code. I got a brand new one and when I tried to install it, it made my throttle stay open to where it idled at 2500rpms at temperature.

Why is this? I cant adjust it any further but I can push the throttle back with my and and it idles perfectly, but once I let go it goes right back up

 

sounds like you installed the sensor wrong

 

Yeah you were right I took the throttle body off and figured it out. Next question, my car would not stop idling high, I unpluged the iacv and now it idles great. Can I run my car without that or should I replace it???

 

Did you adjust the TPS?

do ^that^ first. then go through the procedure of setting ignition timing and idle speed via the idle screw.
