my ecu is giving me a code of 7 flashes which i was told is a throttle position sensor. if this is true how can i go about troubleshooting the fault? i checked the wiring of the plug for the sensor and they seem to look ok. i got the code on friday morning and i was able to get rid of the code by disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. but while half way through my first pass on the track the light came on and i got the same code and now i cant get rid of it. i was told by a local shop that you cannot buy that sensor and that i would have to buy a new throttle body? i need help boys and girls, thanks

kevin do you have any extra throttle bodies?

 

I've got a p30 one but its a little smaller than yours ( 58 vs 60 mm ). I've also got a b20 one that is a 62mm but i'm not sure if it'll fit on your intake, you could ask around. Also I must have lost your number somewhere so give me a call, I figured out the problem with my car so i'm a go with test and tune.
