TPS adjustment .45 -.50 idle ???
I was wondering where in the .45 - .50 range would my car idle better. I have it at like .48 and it seems like my car wants to kill when i push in the clutch. and now when i go WOT from launch to 4th gear i get TPS code. I was not getting any codes before, but my throttle was acting weird, so i checked the voltage, it was .40
I can't honestly say what's best. mine's at .45 almost on the dot. Then again my car jerks around at 4-5k. While testing the TPS I noted that it had a "dead spot" where the multimeter just freaked out a little over half throttle (3.1-3.3v) so
. I'd just try to get it as close to .45 as possible and see how it goes. also, make sure that the tps has 5v going into it.

you just answered your own question...get a another TPS if you need one I have one check my SIG. a dead spot would mean open circuit and you will get a DTC.
