Default Torque Steer?

So what is it? I have a vague conception of it having something to do with the wheels that turn also being powered in a FF car...or something...? Please help me in my conquest to understand every single thing on or about my car

Do you ever floor your car when making a right from a stop light or stop sign? Notice how the steering gets really light!?! There ya go.

Or how about when you just floor it from a stop and the wheel yanks right. Or how about when your tranny goes from first to second and the car jumps to the right. That is TQ steer.

It is caused by the axles being different lengths/weights. The shorter/lighter axle will spin before the longer/heavier one.

Hmm that's a gross misnomer then, considering as how I have no torque. I think I get the idea now...but my brain craves lots of techical-sounding jibba-jabba to be satisfied--anyone?
