Default too late for turbo?

i have 150K on my 95 GSR, is it too late for me to slap a turbo on it?

I don't think its ever really too late to turbo your car, but you may not have top-notch performance or reliability. As long as you run reasonable boost levels I think you would be OK.

as long as you maintained your engine all these years i would say you can run at least 7-8 psi on it tops,with a intercooler and bov and fuel system setup.
or rebuild with better components and low compression pistons and run 12psi or more

it all depends on the condition of the motor. if your rings are good and pistons also along with every other component you should be ok. mileage doesnt limit your ability to do something its the condition of the components. if you have the money tho i would definately change the rings and bearings inside the motor. those can easily die on a higher mileage motor, it will also give you a chance to inspect all the parts.

like everyone is saying.... depends on the condition of the motor.....

if its decent shape... you will be looking at antother 50k on the motor b4 it goes POOOOOOF

exactly what i'm gonna do. my GSR has about 100k, but i'm getting a rebuild at the same time as install.
