Tokico Blues
I have a chance to buy a set of blues with 30,000 miles on them for 100$ , i am running sportlines with stocks shocks. Ride is horrible becasue tehy are all blown. I searched and found mixed opinions on them but $100 is cheap. I do occasional auto-x so i dont knwo how they will do. I cant afford adjustables. So what should i do. Blues coem wtih a lifetime warranty and are for lowered cars according to their website, so im guessing they are good quality
you cant go wrong for 100 bucks, unless they are really f*cked up...i've had my "blues" for over 3 years (about 50K+ miles) and have loved my ride quality... i use them with neuspeed springs and have never been bouncy...this is for daily driving though so i dont know how it'll hold for autox...i say get them, and save up a lil more money unless you can stand your blown shocks for a little bit longer
i've installed blues on numerous cars and i have to say they are pretty bad. After about 6000 miles they are just soft. The KYB GR2 is a better shock in my opinion. For the most part the adjustable shocks like the KYB AGX or Tokico Illuminas have better valving.
Used Blues might just be as good as good condition stock shocks.

I have blues on my car with H&R springs. It rides fine. And regarding GR2s, those are just stock replacement whereas the Tokicos are somewhat stiffer. I also bought my tokicos used (for $90 with about 2,000 miles on them) and they seem to be fine.
