Default Tire Storage - How

I'm not sure if this is tech, but I guess it's can be consider "non-moving" tech.

How to you store tires?

Do you let the air out?

Any type of protectant, like armor all?

TIA

ideally, you would have them suspended by the wheel (no weight on it)..

I wouldn't let the air out. And no protectant.. ESPECIALLY not armor all.

You'd want a stable temperature environment so that they don't get too cold, or heat cycle.

I just got done putting mine away for the season. I just wrapped each tire in a plastic bag and stacked them one on top of each other. Then I put another bag over the entire stack to double bag them. I hope this works Ok for the winter under some stairs outside?

only problem with doing the bag thing...I don't like the idea of leaving something sealed outside....

I know, i feel the same way but I don't have room to bring them inside nor a garage. I guess it will have to do for now. I'll be using them thoughout winter for the winter autoX season but not on a daily basis.

best to leave them off the rim... or will no air in the tire at all
store them in a cool dry place..
in a dark plastic bag..
DONT place them near electric motors, magnetic fields,
