remiving cam caps
[edit] sorry about the title typo... i can't speel
i installed some cams this weekend, and it was pretty easy (LS)
i spent the most time getting the cam caps off the head. on all the how-to's i had seen they talked about using a screwdriver to pry them off. i tried that and nearly ruined one of the caps seeing that the aluminum is so soft.
well, i found the only way to get them off was to take a hammer and tap each one from varying angles until it loosened. is this the wrong way to do it? i can see that if you hit them too hard you could warp them.
any thoughts? is there any other way to do it?
