Tire poll
Toyo Proxes TPT, they took almost a half a second off of my quarter mile time, and only cost me 400 bucks for all four. thats including mounting, balancing, and a 4 wheel alignment.
Best all around: S03
Best value (high performance): Azenis
Best value (communting, or if noise is an issue): Kumho 712
Best performing: A032R
Best autocross non-R rated tire: BFG KD (if money isn't an issue)
The Kumho Ecsta MX isn't out so noone knows what they'll turn out to be.
I'd buy Azenis unless tire noise bothers you.

Azenis ST 115 by far..Z rated, aggressived tread design, very quiet and a UTOG rating of 360..so it ll be good wearing too...pricing is good too..running 235/45/17s on my mitsu eclipse and got them for $120 apeice at Discount Tires..smaller size s would be alot cheaper
Go read some reviews at TireRack.Com. They have too ratings and reviews on tires.
My opinion, Yoko A520's are best street/course/strip tire for the money. A little noisy, but excellent dry traction and response.
And yes, NT450's do suck ***. Extremely overrated, just like Ecsta 712's.
