Default timing question

i just got done putting my ls/vtec setup back together and i need to know how to aligne the cams and everything... is it #1 cylinder top dead center and the have the arrows on the cam gears pointing straight up? if thats not right let me know asap. thanks

LSVs are always tricky to get just right. After you time the motor make sure and turn the engine counter clockwise 2 full crankshaft rotations by hand to make sure everything lines back up.
