Default timing issue.

i checked the timing in m car. 4 degrees. WTF. when i changed it to 16 it ran like ****. so i put it back at 4. the dizzy bolt is right in the middle at 4 degrees. p28 on a d15b. bolt ons. can get the idle to stop jumping either. any help would be greatly thanked.

I also have the D16Y8 pully on the d15b.

there is three marks then just one mark to the right. on the crank pully with mark is TDC?

there should be a up mark then 2 lines left and right side of it. those two shoule be alined, and the bottom one should be off the the left a bit by a few degrees. TBC mark aligned with the pointer on the timing belt back cover.
