b18c-1:

aem type-r intake
4-1 dc sports ss header
48 psi fpr
gutted cat wit 2.5 pipeing to a apexi n1
and skunk2 chipped p28

should i advance my timing to 18...

also i hear about ecu makin it back to 16 and
whats the deal wit useing only 93 octane or higher, i mean i use 93 regardless but wat would happen if i used like 87 or sumthin lolol.... thanks

the only you should advance the timing is if you have a reason to advance the timing: performance/race camshafts or if timing is slightly off the factory specs. by advancing the timing to 18 degrees you will, in theory gain more lower end power. But the only true way you will know if you gained any power is by putting it on the dyno.

to answer your second question. by using the lower octane 87 the performance of your engine will decrease and might start knocking. there's a reason honda recommends you use at least 91 octane or higher on that engine. main reason is that it is a high compression engine and designed to use the higher octane fuel.
