I have a B16a head...When starting the car engine is relatively quiet...after it warms up a ticking noise can be heard....when accelerating into Vtec at wide open throttle the car will pull then make a buzzing type sound and "kick" out of Vtec....and repeats ...when around 7,500 rpms buzzing sound is constant and vtec is "disengaged" it seems and no power is to be found...Tried adjusting valves.....new Vtec solenoid...engine oil is appropriate alsa....Anyone have any clue what may be the problem?

To be a little more specific....The noise at high rpms when vtec is supposed to be engaged sounds a little like someone dropped a handful of bbs into the valvetrain.
