Im throwing code 8 and 1 on my 95 integra rs with a obd1 gsr swap. My vtec wont kick in...could it be b/c of these codes?

 

bump i need to know asap! code 8 is TDC code and 1 is o2 sensor...i think code 8 might keep my vtec from kicking in.

 

I haven't heard of a TDC code triggering vtec not to work but i've heard the VSS code triggers vtec not to work but hey it isn't that hard to fix a TDC code... 02 shouldn't trigger the vtec not to work at all... also did you change out the ecu to p72? cause i've made a mistake and forgot to throw my p28 into my lsvtec swap before but realized it after riding down the road the ecu was right beside me... haha

 

i fixed it but now im throwing 1...and 8 was keeping my vtec from working.
