Default Throw out bearing

While the car is idling the tranny makes a noise kinda like its clunking.
At first it wasnt so bad but now it seems like it does it more often. It also seems like a low idle causes it to start acting up I have a itr tranny with LSD,I was told it was a throwout bearing but wanted a little more advice.I just had the clutch installed and dont want to go back in there unless I have to.
The tranny shifts like a dream by the way even with my big 17's.
thanks for any help!!

Could be springs in the clutch disc, release bearing, or input shaft bearings. We need more details on when this noise occurs.

Thanks for all the replys..
Ill try and give as much info as I can.
While the car is idling in nutral with the clutch out it starts clunking.
Say for instance i come to a light and have to stop well acsionaly the idle will fluxuate if the idle goes real low it will cause it to start clunking (only while the clutch is out)If im in nutral and I press the clutch in the noise goes away!
It might be making that noise while driving but cant tell because of the exaust.
I also notice if i pput my ear close to the tranny itself i can hear somthing in there spinnig.
all this happenes while the clutch is out.

If you press the clutch pedal to the floor (disengaging the clutch) and the noise stops then it is NOT the release bearing- it could be the clutch disc springs or an input shaft bearing.

Try this- while cruising at @30 mph- push the clutch pedal to the floor and hold it there- shift the transmission in neutral- as your tach drops- shift into second gear with the pedal still to the floor and coasting at @30 mph- if you hear a bunch of racket as the input shift spins up while shifting into second, I would highly suspect clutch disc springs. IF under normal driving and acceleration you hear a clanking/whining noise I would suspect input shaft bearings- either way the tranny has to come out.

The canking only happens while at idle and it wont stop if i pres the clutch in and out again
I can hear somthing spinning while i rev the car thats why i suspect it might be making that sound while driving.
but the helicoptering is only at idle like when i start car up it starts helacoptering, and if i rev it and reless it will dip below 100 rpms and start clankin!!
If it where the trow out how bad would it be to take it out to the track tomarrow and rip it a little?? It shifts great somtims wont gointo 4th while under hard load!

Clutch springs that are coming out of the disc can cause idle problems because they are essentially intermittently causing lockup between the disc and pressure plate- But if it sounds like a helicopter- I would suspect input shaft bearing problems.

If it is an input shaft bearing the longer you wait the more likely you are to gall the input shaft itself- its your call. One time I had a noisy input bearing on a 95 civic- I changed the fluid to honda MTL and the noise went away.
