Default Throttle Problem?

I've been driving this way for a while now. Its pretty annoying but heres the deal. After I got my head swap and timing set the car does not accelerate fast when I step on the gas hard. If i step on it hard it gradualy takes it time accelerating. If I push down the pedal half way the car accelerates better. I have no idea what the hell is going on. The car responded like crap ever since the swap and timing is set correctly. I tried adjusting the idel air mixture but that doesnt help. When I step on it all the way down on the highway, instead of getting that quick jump it doesnt go fast. Anyone have any ideas? I have a D16Y7 block and a D16Y8 Head. I'm also using the Y7s throttle body. I also have a drop in idle from P to D. In Park its about 900 rpm and when I throw it in to drive it goes to about 600. Sometimes it goes lower and feels like its about to stall out. When I had the complete Y7 and power braked, it would rev up to 3000. Now with the swap it will only go about 2500 rpm. Any and all useful posts will be appreciated. Thanks again in advance!

All the vaccumm lines are hooked up. How would I check if the TB is opening all the way? Timing I know is not off. When I first did the swap it was and I couldnt figure it out. I sent it to the shop and they redid the timing.

is it downshifting? it might be your faulty throttle positioning sensor. it also may be a bad fuel filter, or clogged fuel injectors.

Yes it downshifts fine. I checked the tps and it was fine. How would a bad fuel filter or clogged injectors cause this problem?

well on FULL throttle it is injecting more fuel......versus partial throttle, if they are clogged, it wont be able to supply the ample amount of fuel.
