basically i was wondering if there were any differences in the years of b series tps sensors

my aftermarket throttle body will not allow the stock tps sensor to fit on
it is for mpfi but the metal shaft on the throttle body that turns the sensor is the wrong shape for the sensor...?? whats the deal?

has anyone had problems fitting their stock sensor onto a aftermarket throttle body? and which tps sensor did you end up using?
