Default Throttle Body Mounting

I'm looking for a larger bore throttle body for my 92 - D16Z6. I know there was a bolt spacing issue with the 88-91 D16A6 and the Integra throttle bodies. Will the B series throttle bodies fit the D16Z6 bolt pattern?

I have done numerous internal modifications plus aftermarket intake and exhaust, but wonder is there such a thing as going to large when swapping throttle bodies. Is it possible to run a 62mm ITR throttle body on SOHC V-TEC D series.

Yes...B-series will bolt to your Z6

60MM is probably the largest you should go n/a, even with high c/r and portwork. You won't outflow 60MM with a d-series unless you are going into extreme headwork and a big cam

You might have to ditch some coolant hoses, transfer sensors from your previous TB, etc. I havent done it to my car. But I have a friend who has a GSR TB on his D16Z6.

I had read about a guy putting an early B series integra throttle body on a 1989 D16A6 and he had to slot the holes in the integra throttle body.

My concern is would I have to slot the holes on any of the "B" series throttle bodies to fit the 92 - 95 D16Z6 manifold?

Thanks, The motor consist of a fully ported head, .5mm oversize valves and cam. The compression has been increased to 9.8 - 9.9:1 and the intake is an Edelbrock Performer X with the T/B opening at 64mm.

Within a year we will add the turbo. Either the GT28RS or the GT2871R

B-series tb's will swap over. No mods, just swap over. The only problems you would face is.....Well nothing. Unless your manifold has the IACV on the stock throttle body. But since you are using an aftermarket mani I doubt you will ahve any problems.
