From the wording of your question, you think this is an add on? A throttle body comes on every fuel injected car. It controls the amount of air entering the engine. It is what your gas pedal is attached to. Some people put bigger ones in or polished or both to get more air into the engine to make more power.

 

Larger throttle body w/o larger or PNP'd intake manifold will cause a "bottle-neck" so to say. Really be pointless upgrade until' both are done.
