Those running Sk2 Stage 2 pass emissions? Settings?
I'm running Skunk2 Stage 2's in my 84mm bore B18C w/
- 11.8:1 pistons
- 440cc injectors
- Hondata Stage 2
- Portlfow springs, retainers, Port&Polish
I need to pass emissions.
I was wondering if any of you out here had a similar set-up (or at least with the Stage 2 cams) passed inspection. If so, what was your cam timing set at (what setting would give me the best chance to pass)?
Oh, and I'm outside of Cali, so I don't have to worry about CARB.
Thanks for the help and advice!

your not going to pass emmisions skunk stage 2 cams are race cams you need to find somebody that will do it for you, of course your gonna have to hit him up wit sum xtra $$$.. i paid dis guy $60 to pass mine..
Yeah, well.... I don't mind paying to be hooked up. But I'm afraid I don't have those connections around me.
Anyone in the Pittsburgh, PA (Westmoreland County actually) area able to hook me up for some $$
I would be much obliged!

maybe tune the hondata for a cleaner burn.. maybe leaner or somethin. i don't really know.
then you can just change out the chip after you pass

If your state does not use loaded mode testing, you should be able to squeak by if you lean it out a bit with the Hondata. It will be a close thing though, if you go too lean , you will have a lean misfire. Bump your timing back to 10-12 degrees BTDC. If you have access to a shop that has a four gas analyzer, have them tune it to pass for you. Good luck.
