Default For those with LS/VTEC assembly experience..

I've got a quick question I need answered before I hit the machine shop. I'm getting ready to have my GSR head machined for an LS/VTEC i'm putting in an Integra. My question is in regards to the oil supply for the VTEC solenoid. I saw some instructions somewhere that have you using the 3/8" NPT plug on the back of the head and the new spot to run the oil feed line to, but I always thought it was the 1/8" NPT plug on the side of the head under the distributor where the line was run too. Can somebody clear this up for me?

Its a 3/8 on the back of the head.. Not sure what the 1/8 one your talking about is, the only 1/8 I know of under the dizzy is the coolant sensor and you sure dont want to use that for the oil feed..

Also make sure you use a 3/8 BSPT fitting into the head, not a NPT fitting..

I went to mcmaster.com and got a 3/8BSPT to 3/8NPT adapter and just ran an AN6 line from my oil block adapter to the 3/8 fitting..

1/8npt is the plug that is used on the bottom of the head. thats what gets confusing 1.8npt and 3.8npt peopel just get it confused some times. but the one in the pic is the correct one
