Default thinkin of a swap...

hey just had some questions before i decide what motor i wanna use. First, what did a b17 come from? and what are better-ls vtec or b20vtec? whats the difference in hp and cost? how does a ls vtec or b20vtec compare to a b18c1 or c5? thankd

The B17 is from a 92-93 Integra GS-R. As for the frankenstein motors, it all depends what specific parts you use and how well the motor is put together. If done right, the B20 vtec or the LS vtec will both be good. But if you can afford it, get a B18C5.

Ls's are weak stock but can have plenty mod's done i hav an integra Ls HP is 140 stock but change out the head for v-tec and some other mods and it will be decent.

B20vtec, if given the choice. I would just do some research, make sure you build it right the first time, and go have some fun.
