Default thin headgasket?

just did a thin headgasket on my b16a. it has 25 over ctr pistons. now it has a little tick not to loud but not queit could this be caused by no clearance between the pistons and valves??

tick? describe better... does it sound like you have marbles inside your engine?

and what cams are you running that you think you need more than 11.8 compression?

With ctr pistons you may not have enough piston to head clearance. You need around .035".That is the gasket clearance plus the piston to deck height (or minus if the piston is above the deck). With ctr pistons you may have close to a zero deck. With stock cams its probably not valve to piston. You probably have to much compression for pump fuel also.

How thick of a headgasket did you install? And no it won't be valve clearance issues, but there could be head clearance issues as NJIN BUILDR said.
