Has Anyone Ran Nippon CTR/B16B Pistons With S2 Pro 3 Cams?
Piecing together a budget B20V drag car and wondering if the valve reliefs are big enough on the Nippon cast CTR pistons to clear P2V. Obviously I'll clay the engine when I'm assembling it but I was wondering if anyone has tried this before, I'm not sure if the pockets are deep enough on these pistons to clear the valves at max lift.
Will be keeping 84mm bore, not sure yet if we'll be using a B16 or GSR head. Block will have very minimal (if any) decking, head very minimal milling. Compression ratio should be in high 13's.

^Unfortunately can't tell you as this build ended up going a completely different direction. I'm still interested to know if anyone has done that combination (Cast CTR pistons + Pro3 cams) just for future reference.
