wish I could help but I only have ways to tell B-series cams apart, not H-series...

Sounds kind of shadey to me. The above quote sounds like his scape-goat if you ever do find out they arent genuine JDM type-s cams.

 

I thought the type-s had a BLUE valve cover not a red one.....

 

r there numbers or codes at the end of the cam shaft?

 

No cams have 'codes' really, they have specific numbers or letters at various sections on the shaft and the ends specify the exact cam
